Project Description
At CC-JOBS INGO, we focus on supporting ambitious youth who lack the financial means to pursue education and develop employable skills that meet labor market demands. Our Youth Development Sponsorship Program (YDSP) offers practical training programs, English and communication skills, entrepreneurship training and coaching, and internships for youth in our target community.
Internship Description
Role of the Intern: As an intern in Creative Media & Game Technologies, you will contribute to skill transfer and the development of sustainable materials and methods. You will work closely with our team and the youth in our program.
General Activities:
- Participate in family visits and counseling sessions
- Create resilience-building workshops for youth
- Assist with documentation and report writing
- Data collection and research implementation
- Manage and upgrade our social media channels
- Design and implement tourism activities for sustainability
- Attend team meetings for evaluations and impact analysis
- Assist with workshops and community activities
Specific Activities for Creative Media & Game Technologies:
- Game Design and Development: Develop educational games and interactive media to enhance the learning experiences of youth in our program.
- Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR): Create VR/AR applications for use in our workshops and training programs to provide an immersive learning environment.
- Social Media and Digital Content: Manage and improve our social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram). This includes daily/weekly postings and creating visually appealing content such as posters and videos.
- Video Production: Develop promotional videos and documentaries to highlight our Youth Development Sponsorship Program and other initiatives.
- Marketing and Communication: Develop and implement a marketing communication plan focused on our tourism activities, student exchange program, or YDSP program.
- Graphic Design: Create visual content for various channels and applications, such as posters, banners, and promotional material.
- Innovative Projects: Develop innovative ideas and projects that contribute to our mission and increase community engagement.
Supervision: Professional guidance by staff members with relevant bachelor’s degrees.
Workspace for Interns: Office space with internet access, training room for workshops, and community space for outreach activities.
Support: Daily support with research writing and reviews, data collection, language interpretation, and local neighborhood guidance when visiting Kigali, Rwanda. We assist interns with all living arrangements during their stay in Rwanda.

This one-time amount includes:
- Matching procedure; suitable project with project description according to all criteria.
- Impact Internship guidance & support from registration until return home (Rwanda and South Africa experience since 2015)
- Agency fee of €500 for preparation assistance, full period study abroad guidance, evaluation and monitoring during your stay in Rwanda or South Africa.

When you want to stay longer than your booked period, request if your room is available.
Included in your monthly hosting package:
- Hosting, local project support and supervision
- Accommodation in Guest house including WIFI
- Food and beverages package (during the week Monday-Friday; 3x meals per day)
- A cook who provides dinner every Monday to Friday evening
- Kinyarwanda class (Local Language Rwanda) or a local language in South Africa
- Cleaning of the house; 3 times per week
- Laundry service; 3 times per week.
