Our vision is to create a prosperous community where youth have access to resources enabling them to become self-sustainable and major contributors to their community. We sponsor ambitious youth who lack financial means to obtain educational qualifications and employable skills.
Youth Development Sponsorship Program (YDSP):
- Initial Stage:
- Practical study program in Culinary Arts and Nutrition at established Training Centers.
- Basic English and Communication Skills programs.
- Intermediate Stage: 3. Entrepreneurship training and coaching. 4. Counseling and Career Guidance. 5. Employment coaching, including application and interview process. 6. Community Development activities with YDSP students.
- Completion Stage: 7. Internship placement for all students. 8. Connecting students with job opportunities or assisting them in starting their own businesses.
Mission of the Organization:
- Support eager and ambitious youth by sponsoring their Vocational Training.
- Offer guidance for successful employment or entrepreneurship through mentorships and workshops.
- Inspire youth to contribute actively to their community through community development activities.
Goal for Students: Experience a meaningful, impactful, and life-changing internship, research, or volunteering period in Rwanda.
Role of the Intern:
- Skills transfer and creating sustainable materials and methods.
General Intern Activities
- Attending family visits to announce selection of YDSP students before internship placement
- Attending and evaluating counseling sessions of YDSP students
- Creating resilience-building workshops for youngsters from YDSP
- Helping with documentation and report writing
- Assisting with data collection and research implementation
- Managing and upgrading our Social Media channels
- Designing and implementing tourism activities for sustainability
- Attending team meetings for evaluations and impact analysis
- Assisting with workshops and community activities: Culinary Arts cooking classes, English & Communication, Career Guidance & Counseling, Entrepreneurship, and community workshops and activities.
Project Management:
- Contributing ideas for improvement and development of the project
- Exchanging theoretical knowledge or work experience with the team
- Training and supporting staff, with experienced interns presenting ideas to build on the team's work.
Specific Activities: For Hospitality & Tourism Studies + Hotel Management:
- Research related to YDSP or assist in the implementation of educational and community development activities.
- Practical internships at Partner Hotels in Rwanda (e.g., Urban By CityBlue, Hotel Des Mille Collines, Onomo Hotel, M Hotel).
- Support the development and implementation of tourism packages for sustainability, marketing, and promotional activities.
- Supervision: Staff with related bachelor’s degrees.
- Workspace: Office space with internet, training room for workshops, and community space for outreach activities.
- Guidance: Daily support with research writing, data collection, language interpretation, and local neighborhood guidance. Support with living arrangements in Rwanda.

Impact Internship Service Package South Africa: €1,995.00
This one-time amount includes:
- Matching procedure; suitable project with project description according to all criteria.
- Impact Internship guidance & support from registration until return home (Rwanda and South Africa experience since 2015)
- Agency fee of €500 for preparation assistance, full period study abroad guidance, evaluation and monitoring during your stay in Rwanda or South Africa.

When you want to stay longer than your booked period, request if your room is available.
Included in your monthly hosting package:
- Hosting, local project support and supervision
- Accommodation in Guest house including WIFI
- Food and beverages package (during the week Monday-Friday; 3x meals per day)
- A cook who provides dinner every Monday to Friday evening
- Kinyarwanda class (Local Language Rwanda) or a local language in South Africa
- Cleaning of the house; 3 times per week
- Laundry service; 3 times per week.
